Sculptor and print maker, López del Campo was born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico in 1936. He studied sculpture with Vázquez Díaz and print making with Lorenzo Homar in the Graphic Workshop of the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture.
In 1962 he received a grant to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. He later returned to the island and most recently has been professor of sculpture at the Escuela de Artes Plásticas of the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture. - Source: Arte Foundation
