Domingo López was born in 1942 in Gurabo, Puerto Rico. He has exhibited in San Juan and Mayagüez. López was the winner of the Christmas Festival of the Puerto Rican Athenaeum (1966). Institutions that have some of his work include: The Institute of Puerto Rican Culture, the University of Puerto Rico, the Puerto Rican Athenaeum and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
