Santos Ocasio (Gurabo, PR, 1991) graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and recently completed a Masters in Visual Arts Practice from the Glasgow School of Arts in Scotland. Her work has been shown in dozens of solo and group exhibitions since 2014, in: Puerto Rico, United States, and the United Kingdom.
She uses different mediums such as painting, drawing, installation, and collage to explore themes related to fear, death and absolutism, heavenly and eternity, with a constant dialogue with literature.
Alexandra currently lives and works in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico.
